10th Planet Jiu Jitsu was created by Eddie Bravo as a system specifically designed around no-gi grappling. The system developed its own terminology and positions, including the Rubber Guard, Twister, Electric Chair, and various forms of the Lockdown and Truck. Today, 10th Planet has grown into a worldwide network of academies, attracting students from beginners to elite competitors. Its philosophy encourages athletes to think creatively, develop their own style, and constantly look for new ways to control and submit an opponent.

Eddie Bravo is a pioneering figure in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the Founder of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu. After developing a passion for grappling, Bravo became known for his innovative approach to No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, emphasizing flexibility, creativity, unconventional positions, and submissions techniques.
